Since their formation way back when they attended school at the University of South Carolina in the '80s, Hootie and the Blowfish went on to sell over 25 million records, win two Grammys, and have 17 songs on the Billboard Charts. No one can dispute these incredible individuals' achievements, and their upcoming tour, which will visit 43 cities in the US and Canada, guarantees to be a top-notch event in 2024.
The band blew up in 1994 after a performance on the Late Show with David Letterman with the release of "Cracked Rear View," their debut album, and subsequently released several albums, including the top ten US recordings, "Fairweather Johnson" and "Muscial Chairs."
On the trek, y'all can expect to witness the rich soulful vocals of frontman Darius Rucker, accompanied by the talents of guitarist Mark Bryan, drummer Jim 'Soni' Sonefeld, and bassist Dean Felber. They'll be kicking things off on May 30th in Dallas and will run through June, July, and August before wrapping up on Sept. 28th in West Palm Beach for a spectacular finale.
On all of the dates that they're performing, you'll also get to enjoy the sounds of Collective Soul and Edwin McCain, both of whom will be bringing their signature sounds with them. Plus, on June 21, Barenaked Ladies will also be joining them for a special Fenway Park show.
This also marks the first time they've been on the road since 2019, and fans are already super eager to get their hands on tickets.
