Traverse the crossroads of soul and country in a collaborative concert that celebrates shared roots, musical heritage, and a long-standing friendship. Summer 2025 — Live Nation brings us award-winning singer-songwriters Leon Bridges and Charley Crockett on "The Crooner & The Cowboy" Tour. After a night at the Hollywood Bowl, our co-headliners will push forward a twenty-date road trek through North America. Their first stops will cut through Milwaukee, Sterling Heights, and Toronto before an appearance at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, opening with guest artist Noeline Hoffman on the 30th of August, Saturday.
GRAMMY Award winner Leon Bridges delivers emotive storytelling ingenuity into the fray of his upcoming team-up with San Benito native Charley Crockett. Bridges, the aforementioned "crooner," bends soul music as skillfully as the best songsmiths around, often likened to the "Kings of Soul," Sam Cooke and Otis Redding themselves. He brings his self-titled fourth album, Leon, featuring singles "Peaceful Place" and "Laredo," plus a few choice picks from previous releases. Traditional '60s rhythm and blues permeate much of his work, which spans Platinum-certified songs such as "Coming Home," "River," "Beyond," and "Texas Sun."
Street busker. Self-made troubadour. Country cult hero. Charley Crockett, meanwhile, takes up the mantle of the tour’s "cowboy." He garnered his first GRAMMY nod for $10 Cowboy, which notched a Billboard AAA Top 30 title track and Top 25 single "Solitary Road." As with his partner-on-stage, the "Welcome to Hard Times" hitmaker wrangles up his most notable songs and road-worn favorites. You’re looking at authentic Americana anthems like "Jamestown Ferry," "Trinity River," "The Man from Waco," and a slew of gritty unfiltered fare from his latest album, Lonesome Drifter, out via Island Records.
Hailing from Alberta, Canada, Noeline Hofmann joins the concert in an exceptional opening set. The rising artist masterfully attained overnight success after grabbing the attention of country music titan Zach Bryan with her "Purple Gas" hit, slated to front her performance alongside its namesake EP’s "August" and "Lightning in July (Prairie Fire)" singles.
